Tradition
and technology
Originally constructed as administrative headquarters of the Imperial Royal Privileged Austrian State Railway Company in 1870, Haus Schwarzenbergplatz 3 was almost completely destroyed in 1945. In 1983, the architect Georg Lippert used a steel skeleton structure to rebuild it with a historicist façade modelled on the original.
Today, the eight-storey house provides flexibly customisable premises for corporate occupants. The building’s technical infrastructure meets the highest standards while the consistently high-end interior fit-out makes the house an equally modern and prestigious business address in the heart of Austria’s first city.
Prestige and flair
Without a doubt, Schwarzenbergplatz counts among the most sought-after business addresses in Vienna’s inner city. Historic architecture and great names define the square. It’s where business leaders, politicians and diplomats rub shoulders. Where locals mingle with tourists. Time-honoured coffeehouses sit next to chic boutiques.
This explains why you will find everything that defines life in Vienna right in the neighbourhood: renowned corporates, big brands, institutions, embassies, museums, coffeehouses, art, culture and gastronomy, green areas and local amenities.
